7th grade session
I just wanted to say how grateful we are to WHY Outreach for giving our students this fun and enriching experience! I know that the girls enjoyed it, and the boys had fun as well (even though they weren't paying attention all of the time haha).
It was a lovely way to break the rhythm of the day for them. Most of them have never tried yoga before, and Janel's lesson was wonderfully paced for both the students, and the more experienced adults. It makes me happy that they were able to enjoy something new and beneficial.

Cocktails off the Mat
Our first fundraiser was a tremendous success! We are grateful for everyone who donated food, drink, and to our silent auction. Feed Your Spirit: A yoga fundraiser
The evening began with several of our WHY Outreach teachers sharing their stories and was followed by a powerful and energizing class led by Barbara Ruzansky. Full Moon Madness fundraiser
On Saturday, April 28, we hosted our second full moon fundraiser at West Hartford Yoga. The joyful, quirky yoga class was led by WHY's Barbara Ruzansky and featured music by Hands On Drumming. The dimly-lit room was brightened by glow sticks, a full-moon projection, and the overall positive energy from every participant. It's the most fun yoga costume party around! Photos >>
