Free Yoga for Cancer

WHY Outreach is honored to offer a 75 minute complimentary yoga class for anyone coping with cancer—whether newly diagnosed, undergoing treatment, or in recovery.
Mindfulness meditation, a gentle yoga flow, and restorative yoga poses are designed to build strength and flexibility, boost your immune system, and cultivate a sense of well-being. Join us in a safe, nourishing and healing environment.
Class is free, through WHY Outreach. Pre-registration is suggested but not required.
Caregivers welcome! Class held every other Tuesday at WHY.
Free Yoga for Recovery
First Friday each month, 6:00-7:00pm
This monthly (first Friday of the month), all-levels class offers physical, mental, and emotional support to anyone struggling with an addictive behavior or who is in recovery.
WHY Outreach is proud to partner with The Phoenix, a national sober active community, to offer this free monthly in-person yoga class.
The only requirement is 48 hours of continuous sobriety. Family members/friends welcome.

Yoga Prison Project Training
James Fox, Founder led a great training for the Yoga Prison Project at the beginning of April. Housed at the beautiful Copper Beech Institute in West Hartford, a large group gathered to gain new teaching skills targeted at underserved populations.
